Simplicity at the touch of a button
Reviewed by DionneMc from Alexandria, VA on 05/31/2007 09:41 am
purchased this unit as I was annoyed by being constantly lost driving in the DC area.
This GPS is a dream to use, just type in the address and off you go. I no longer have to worry about wither or not (as in some cases) I will reach my destination on time.
The ONLY problem that I have experienced with this unit is the windscreen attachment, on more than one occasion it has fallen off (bit of a safety hazard). I have the unit in front of the gear stick (in the coin holder), which means I can hear the directions instead of being able to see and hear, so far this has not been a problem.
I also like the size of the GPS, it is small enough to pop into my jacket pocket or a small purse.
Overall, I am very happy with this GPS and have recommended it to several of my European colleges.

Nice new TomTom GO 910 GPS
Reviewed by Tom from Pittsburg, PA on 09/07/2006 03:46 pm
Thanks to an earlier review from Dennis, I double checked the compatibility of my Motorola V3i on TomTom website at: http://www.tomtom.com/phones/?intProduct=212
before I ordered my Go 910 and it worked great for hands-free calling and even shows my Contact List right after I paired the two devices. It has plenty of nice features and settings which I have not play with yet. I'll save that for later. So far, I'm very impressed with the basicnavigation features. Very easy to use just enter an address and you are on your way. I like that it even remembers the last city or street you entered previously so it speeds up the process if you want to select the same city again. Very nice! Recommened but do check for bluetooth compatibility before you buy.

Had it one day. Nice looking unit, good directions, only handsfree bluetooth cell phone connectivity does not work with Audiovox PPC-6700. (confirmed with TomTom Tech Support)

A perfect GPS unit for travelers at a great price
Reviewed by SamP from Clearlake, CA on 07/08/2006 11:50 am
Just received my TomTom 910 yesterday as promised, this unit is about as nice as it can be. I owned a Lowrance iWay 500 before, what a difference.
The display is Sharpe and the screen size although slightly smaller than the iWay 500, it is much better.
I am so happy that TomTom made such a great unit, this is the easiest GPS unit to use and the text to speech feature is wonderful, even Bluetooth capability for my phone. What else can I ask for? At such a reasonable price for both continents, you can't beat this deal. Looked at Garmin and Magellan, and all their units cost so much more for European maps, this TomTom 910 unit comes with the European map at the same price for Garmin and Magellan with only North America maps, need I say more?
Thank you for getting this unit out to be in time for my Europe vacation this coming week.

Great GPS beautiful extra-wide screen display!
Reviewed by Andrew Friedman from Spokane, WA on 06/16/2006 03:00 pm
I got the C910 because I wanted a GPS to use here at home and on my annual visit back to Europe. It was highly recommended by a friend back in Europe. The C910 comes pre-loaded with maps of both North America and Western Europe at almost the same price of other units that only comes with maps of North America. I have been using it for almost two weeks now and it has been great. It finds satellites very fast and the wide screen maps display and all icons have very high tech look and feel. The menus are very intuitive. I like the bluetooth feature but have yet to try it as I will be getting a bluetooth phone soon. The text-to-speech voice instruction is very nice and clear. I switched over to many other languages just to try and very cool. There are 70 voices in 36 different languages in the system to provide voice instruction. The MP3 and audiobook features are nice. I only wish the windshield mount is a little longer as I mount it very low on the windshield of my SUV and have to reach a bit to reach it so I just simply enter my destination and then put it back on and go. Easy enough. I simply love it.

This TomTom 910 is really is a all in one GPS unit
Reviewed by LemuelK from Vernal, UT on 06/14/2006 06:23 pm
Own a Garmin c330 before and did not like the lack of text to speech and small screen, my best friend Pete just purchased a TomTom 910 and told to check out Autonavdirect.
I purchased a unit from these nice folks and found the service was exceptional, received my unit promptly and Jon was very helpful with my order.
I love the 4" large display, and it is brighter then my Garmin c330 unit. the text to speech is great and the unit is very easy to use. I am very happy with the TT 910 and I am pleased that Jon at Autonavdirect was so helpful with helping me with this purchase.
Thank you very very much Jon
