Meets my special needs

My wife got the 2200T for me for Christmas this year.(After a couple months research by me) I ride a motorcycle and I needed something that was weather proof and rugged.I have it on a handlebar mount on a Honda Goldwing, and It works perfectly. Don't think I could have found anything better especially for the price.Thanks Megellan for a fine unit.

Right out of the box it worked great. Intuitive and easy to read. The portability and campact size are great features. I would purchase it again. Very good value.

I got my Magellan GPS today and I am really
happy because it is exactally what I wanted. This GPS is highly portable and it is the best.

I bought this unit for my son and it has everything that you could ask for in a gps unit and not to mention at a really great price. I found this to be one of the few that tells you the street name over the speaker at this price. I recommend this unit to all.

I Own The 2200T Roadmate However I feel that the Roadmate 700 which i still own is better My Screen has Frozen several times with the 2200T and i never had that problem with my other unit.

Just received my Magellan 2200 unit from Autonavdirect, their service is very fast.
I purchased this unit for my husband and this Magellan unit have everything we needed and more.
He is very happy with the unit and I think I made the right decision when I selected this Magellan GPS unit for him.

My second Roadmate

I have been looking for a replacement GPS after my Roadmate 700 got stolen a couple month ago. I have used my 700 for over 2 years and really miss a GPS in my life. I received the Roadmate 2200T yesterday and to my surprise, it's much better than my old 700. The GPS acquisition is so much faster and the user interface is very easy. I especially like the built-in battery so I could turn it on and use it without first plug into the power source. The option of text-to-speech and the 3 dimension view are also a bonus. I still can not believe it only cost about 40% of what I paid for my good old Roadmate 700 a little over 2 years ago. p.s. The MP3 and picture viewer are also added bonus and it fits easily into your pocket. Thanks for the recommendation!

Just received the Roadmate 2200T.
The unit is small with a large bright display and very easy to use.
I am going to really enjoy this unit and been waiting for it now for a few months because I like the unit to be able to pronounce the street names but did not wish to pay the $799 or more price for a Garmin Nuvi.
This unit gives me everything I needed and more.
