Quick-reference guide
The StreetPilot c340 provides in-car navigation that is simple for anyone to use directly out of the box. After selecting a destination from the user-friendly touch screen interface, Garmin’s text-to-speech feature tells users the name of the street, when to turn, and in what direction. If you miss your turn, the c340 automatically calculates a new route to the destination.

Great tool! Don't leave home without it!
Reviewed by Puncho V. from Columbus,OH on 06/08/2006 12:32 am
I travel to both coast often on business trips and have always rented the NeverLost gps from Hertz. I finally decided to get one so I can have one when driving in my own vehicles at home. This unit turns out to be so much easier to use and it even has 3D view and can pronounce each street name for each up coming turns. I also got the portable FM TMC receiver and it has helped me avoid major delays several times in Boston and also in the S.F.Bay area. Most of the time, it simply provided traffic information but these incidents may not be on your route so it does not affect you. I hope the Traffic feature will improve over time.
I will never leave home with out it.

Cool GPS! Great price!

Thank you guys for the recommendation! I have only used it for a couple days and I can tell already it's a great GPS, just what I was looking for. I had a Navman unit for almost two years and this C340 is so much better in every aspect. I just love it. Going on a road trips this weekend. Can't wait to use it and show it off to all my friends at the lake.

I love this nice size unit. Not too small and not too large. Just right for my Camry. The touch screen makes for fast data entry. Lithium Ion battery keeps a charge and Garmin claim it will last upto 8 hours but I have not need to use it out of my car for that long yet. I have been waiting since last November for the price to come down and guess what, it did. Thanks for a nice recommendation!
