Place hands-free calls with Bluetooth wireless technology
The nüvi 360 along with its counterpart the nüvi 310 integrate wireless technology with a microphone and speaker that lets you make hands-free mobile phone calls. Simply dial numbers with the nüvi's touch screen keypad to make a call on a compatible Bluetooth phone. To answer calls, just tap nüvi's screen and speak directly into its built in microphone.
In addition, easily look-up and dial numbers from your personalized phone book or from your phone’s call history log. Don’t know the phone number for your destination? Simply find and dial it from nüvi's extensive points of interest database — including hotels, restaurants, stores, and attractions.
Navigate with Ease
The nüvi 360 comes with preloaded maps of Europe or North America, and includes automatic routing, 2D or 3D map perspective, turn-by-turn voice directions that speak street names, and a fingertip touch screen interface — making navigation easy. It accepts customized points of interest (POIs) such as school zones and safety cameras. In addition, with Garmin’s optional GTM 11 FM TMC traffic receiver, you can avoid traffic tie-ups by simply pushing a button to calculate a new route.*
Enjoy Travel Kit full of entertainment and useful tools
Navigation is just the beginning. Nüvi includes many “must have” entertainment and travel tools including MP3 player, audio book player with optional content from Audible.com, JPEG picture viewer, travel alarm, currency converters, and more. In addition, optional software packages such as the Language Guide™ and Travel Guides™ can be added for language and content support.

My second Nuvi (1x 350 & 1 x360)
Reviewed by Rey R. from Manhattan Beach, CA on 09/07/2006 05:40 pm
I bought a Nuvi 350 4 month ago thinking I would not need the bluetooth feature on the Nuvi 360 which was not yet available at that time. The Nuvi 350 was great but guess what, I got a new phone last month and it's a bluetooth phone and also hear about the new law coming into effect next January in California regarding the use of cell phone while driving. I decided to upgrade to the 360 and I am very glad I did. The bluetooth paired right up with my New Treo 650 and now I have hands free calling and the best is points of interest calling. I could search for a restaurant where I'm going and simply click on the phone icon and make a reservation and then route to it without even touching my phone. Oh, it also has caller ID. Very cool! I really did not like the bluetooth ear- piece I got with the phone and now I don't need to use it anymore. I sold my Nuvi 350 to my buddy at a price he just could not turn down. Now we are both happy with our Nuvis.

As good as it gets! Great GPS!
Reviewed by Tim from West Hollywood, CA on 07/26/2006 02:45 am
My 1st GPS was a Garmin StreetPilot C330. I struggled following directions in very tight intersections and few times took the wrong street so I got a Nuvi 360 mostly for its Text-to-Speech capability and secondary because the screen in the C330 is difficult to see in bright sunlight. I've had the nuvi 360 for a couple of weeks and it's addressed these two issues very nicely. But I am additionally pleased with how fast it acquires satellites with its better GPS receiver from Sirf, it's accuracy and the fact that touching on the screen on POI gives you address and phone numbers of the place, and more pleased on how it integrates all that with my BT phone, I have a BT headset and it is now going to be used only when I'm not in my car. I could find the restaurant under the POI and simply press the phone icon to call that restaurant to make a reservation and route to it all in one unit. What more could I say? It is As good as it gets!
