However, half the reason I bought this crossover unit was for the topographic maps and the ability to enhance the maps with more detail by purchasing the Mapsend Topo SD card, the problem is that this SD card is still unavailable with no promised delivery date from Magellan. Overall, I would highly recommend this unit.

I dont do alot of hiking, but I find the off road ability of this gps to be a life saver. This is a great gps unit to fill every need, anywhere you want to go or to do anything you wish to do. The advance notice of intersections is great, the chime at the turn is wonderful. As a handheld it is very accurate and easy to use. It does take some getting used to the touch screen and with large fingers, you must be careful. I have used Magellan products for approximately 11 or 12 years and have never been dissatisfied. This crossover unit is perfect for the vehicle and all outdoor uses. Thanks Magellan for another fine product. I look for many good years of service and it is rugged enough to stand up to the time test. AutoNav Direct did a great job getting it shipped and filling my order. Thank you too!
