Navigate with Ease
nüvi 680 comes ready to go right out of the box with preloaded City Navigator® NT street maps, including a hefty points of interest (POIs) database with hotels, restaurants, fuel, ATMs and more. Simply touch the sunlight-readable color screen to enter a destination, and nüvi takes you there with 2D or 3D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions. It even announces the name of exits and streets so you never have to take your eyes off the road. In addition, nüvi 680 accepts custom POIs, such as school zones and safety cameras and lets you set proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs. It also supports configurable vehicle icons — fun, customized car-shaped icons in a variety of colors that show your position on the map.

I found that this unit has all the features you could ask for, but also found that the garmin nuvi 680 is also one of the most expensive on the market. I guess you pay for top quality by garmin. Lets hope garmin keeps up their outstanding customer support.

Rated best gps on the market nuvi 680

I did tons and tons of research on the net and found glowing reviews about this nuvi 680 and I am very happy with this garmin unit. I did find some other sites that had it for less, but they were not a garmin dealer and to be honest, I prefer to buy an item from a store that just sells gps as thats what they know, not these other electric stores or even places like walmart. If you are looking for the best value then you have found the right site. I love the large screen and text to speech is a must for anyone who is looking for a unit.

I did alot of research on the net about this item and many others and found this to be the best of the best. I looked at many other sites, but decided to go with autonav as they are direct garmin authorized dealers and they offer outstanding package with a total of 3 years warranty. These guys only sell gps and I prefer them over sites that sell all other electronics

I love My garmin nuvi 680 and have not had one problem since I got it. Love the large screen and its soo easy even my wife knows how to use it. Thank you again autonavdirect for helping us out. You guys really are the best in the business.

Please be aware of the following risks if you purchase GPS navigation products from an unauthorized Garmin reseller:
Possible exclusion of GPS factory warranty due to:
Purchase of stolen merchandise
Inability to validate the original purchase date and ownership with the original sales receipt AND the transfer of ownership with any subsequent bill of sale
Item shipped to you may be counterfeit, forged, or refurbished, demostration units sold as new.
Item may ship with serial numbers removed
Item may appear new but contain internal water damage or damage from improper use
Item may never ship – contact with the seller may be difficult or impossible using the Internet.
Inferior product maybe substituted for the advertised GPS navigation products.
Maynot qualify for map or firmware update
Unit maybe ship with missing accessories that is normally included with the sale of the unit such as AC power supply, USB cables, protective pouch
Unit maybe ship with outdated map software
Unit maybe from an open box returns, overstock outdated inventory or demo units sold as new at a discounted price
If you must buy from an unauthorized reseller, contact reseller for GPS unit serial numbers they will be shipping you prior to purchase. If they don’t cooperate with your request before the sale, consider what may happen if your unit is defective or missing components after the sale. Always check with the GPS manufacture to ensure the dealer you are purchasing the unit from is recognized as an authorized factory dealer in good standings with the GPS manufactures.
