We provide a complete solution for customers that do not own a compatible PC / Mac or do not wish to perform the update on their Magellan RoadMate GPS products themselves.
Auto Nav 2000 Plus, Inc has been authorized by Magellan to perform software map updates for the Magellan RoadMate units. There are no returns on updates that are purchaed from us.

· In order to use the Version 2 upgrade, your Magellan RoadMate 800 must have a firmware version 2.12 or greater. To check your firmware, press the Menu Key on your Magellan RoadMate 800, select System Status, select Product Information; confirm firmware version number.

Notice to customer's regarding map update software responsibilities and acknowledgement:
Auto Nav 2000 Plus, Inc / Auto Nav Direct understand updating software maybe difficult for some customers, and for this reason we offer a map update service for those who do not wish to deal with possibility of map update failure issues.
There has been cases when customer attempted to perform the map update on their own and failed due to numerous reasons during or after the map update which render their GPS system useless.
Some causes can be lost of power to GPS device during update, Internet security popping up or blocking the update, conflict with computer that is used for updating maps, wrong operating system or not following the proper map update procedures when performing map software update etc.
All these conflict can and may cause the GPS unit you are updating to lock up and or fail.
Important:
If software/firmware update installation is interrupted in anyway
including interruption due to low battery power, your GPS may no longer be able
to operate. Be sure to charge battery fully with an authorized AC charger
before starting the map/firmware update installation procedure. Note that you
perform software / firmware update at your own risk. You assume the entire cost of
all service, repair or correction if necessary.
This update is NOT COMPATIBLE with the Magellan RoadMate 800 AAA edition.
Unit may be required to be sent back to factory for repair if unit fails during update.
Auto Nav 2000 Plus, Inc / Auto Nav Direct cannot be responsible for any such failure beyond our immediate control and customer understand they must take full responsibility for any such failures should it occur and contact the GPS factory directly for resolution should this type of map update failure occur.
We sell the freshest maps that are currently available, and cannot guarantee when the next new map will be released by manufacturers. If you buy the map, you are responsible for your actions and there is no refunds or returns if new maps is available after you purcahse your map updates.
