Auto Nav Direct always tries to provide the best possible prices by reducing our overhead and expenses due to the extreme competitive nature of the Internet GPS market.
There are a very small percentage of brand new GPS units that fail out of the box and require factory warranty, the cost for supporting this type of warranty is very costly.
Customers now have an option to either buy the GPS unit at our everyday deeply discounted Internet price and contact factory directly for any warranty issues or choose to pay an additional $30 for our product support service also known as Warranty Plus offered by Auto Nav Direct.
The $30 fee is to cover the costs of processing warranty unit with the factory and ship the defective unit back to factory for credit. Since there is a small number of failures with these GPS unit, we wish to pass the savings onto our customers and still offer this option to handle warranty issue should one arise by offer the Warranty Plus service program by Auto Nav Direct.
This product support will entitle you to send a defective out of box unit (not damaged) back to us within 30 days of receipt and we will promptly replace your unit with a new unit and handle the warranty with manufacturer for you.
You do not have to deal directly with factory when you chose this optional service provided by Auto Nav Direct.
If you choose not to purchase this Warranty Plus service option, you are accepting the full responsibility to deal with manufacturer directly regarding any warranty issues and hold Auto Nav Direct harmless for any and all actions taken by the GPS manufacturer. You will also waive the rights to charge back your payment to Auto Nav Direct if manufacturer do not offer the solution that you are seeking.
You are fully aware of the option you have with either paying the $30 fee to allow Auto Nav Direct to represent you with any warranty issue within 30 days of receipt of your purchase or should you choose to decline this service, you will be representing yourself with manufacturers with warranty issues and will hold Auto Nav Direct harmless and will not charge back any payments that is made to us for the purchase of the GPS product.
