Plus, if your destination is not found within 25 miles you can easily expand the distance of your search up to 100 miles.

Enhanced address handling makes it easy to locate addresses just outside city boundaries and more accurately choose destinations where gaps exist in street numbering.

Search locations by Zip Code and see the name of the State to confirm the selection of your destination. Improved routing calculations for a more accurate indication of when to turn and when "You Have arrived."

There has been cases when customer attempted to perform the map update on their own and failed due to numerous reasons during or after the map update which render their GPS system useless.

Some causes can be lost of power to GPS device during update, Internet security popping up or blocking the update, conflict with computer that is used for updating maps, wrong operating system or not following the proper map update procedures when performing map software update etc. All these conflict can and may cause the GPS unit you are updating to lock up and or fail.

Important: If software/firmware update installation is interrupted in anyway including interruption due to low battery power, your GPS may no longer be able to operate. Be sure to charge battery fully with an authorized AC charger before starting the map/firmware update installation procedure. Note that you perform software / firmware update at your own risk. You assume the entire cost of all service, repair or correction if necessary.

Unit may be required to be sent back to factory for repair if unit fails during update. Auto Nav 2000 Plus, Inc / Auto Nav Direct cannot be responsible for any such failure beyond our immediate control and customer understand they must take full responsibility for any such failures should it occur and contact the GPS factory directly for resolution should this type of map update failure occur.

We sell the freshest maps that are currently available, and cannot guarantee when the next new map will be released by manufacturers. If you buy the map, you are responsible for your actions and there is no refunds or returns if new maps is available after you purcahse your map updates.

The new UI worked well on my motorcycle with gloves on. Very clear maps. The real reason for the review is for AutoNav customer service. It was several days before I received a shipping confirmation, but that was fine, I was in no rush. When the package arrived, I followed the enclosed directions and updated the unit. To my dismay, the crossover features required a code to unlock that did not come with the unit. Within two hours, it was explained that it was not enclosed because I had not given the serial number of the unit during ordering, I sent the s/n, I received the code, I had a working crossover unit. Thanks for the excellent support. It was nice to find the update in stock when Magellan didn't even have it.
